NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 51-year-old guy died Saturday following an incident at a Stop and Shop in Brooklyn in what witnesses describe as an try to hang an accused shoplifter.
Witnesses instructed CBS2’s Lisa Rozner the person got here into the shop on Flatbush Avenue round 7:30 a.m. and used to be suspected of shoplifting. Customers mentioned one minute, retailer workers have been sitting on him; the following, first responders have been speeding in to manage CPR.

Witnesses described the scene to Rozner.

“I saw this guy laying on the floor, and there was a man over him – sitting over him,” mentioned any other witness.
